Project Description: This project was initially carried out, solo in 2007. I wrapped various piles of my ‘stuff’ junk drawers, toiletry cases, contents of a particular shelf, around my head, all by myself, and then photographed my upper torso and head. I then made a short film of removing each item while naming it, until my head was literally clear. I did this for several piles of ‘stuff’ in my home. I was exploring how it looked and felt to have a cluttered head, literally, with the burden of these objects, and thento remove these and clear my head.
