From the middle of 1999 to the middle of 2001, I focused my investigation on when writing becomes drawing, specifically of a place, to the idea of addressing mail with a drawing of a place, in a manner much resembling writing. I sent out over 100 envelopes in total. The drawings changed into collage and puncture drawings, and I stamped some with important looking stamps: 'nothing inside, keep in tact' and similar.
